They say "home is where your heart is" and right now, home for us is Provo. We moved here January 1, 2008 which makes us really old timers. The average time people stay in our building/block/church ward is about 2 years. We really like coming into our apartment (which we call our house) and feeling at home. It's small, but oh so comfortable and ours. We have a great north facing window from our front room and can see Timpanogos mountain from our couch. During the summer, we can see fireworks from the stadium and hear football game announcements. Every morning, we get waken up by the lovely chirping of birds, sometimes we like this...sometimes we don't. Because we live on the 3rd floor, we only use our heater from December 1 though Valentines day. Summer.Is.Hot. We like to have the windows open as much as possible to cool the place down.
Apartment living is all we have known in our married life, and until that changes, we will stay put and love our place of residence.
Our little street is our home. Our little apartment is our home.
